I am Jabari Khaliq.

I am a Chicago based actor, photographer, and videographer.

Since 2017, I have been an actor in both the theatre and TV/Film communities having the honor of working with Chicago’s best union and non-union creatives. On stage, I’ve worked at Goodman Theatre, Steppenwolf Theatre, Writers Theatre, TimeLine Theatre, and Definition Theatre, among others. As a board member, I’ve served under Artemisia Theatre’s Leadership Coalition and also serve as the Resident Photographer and Videographer for Perceptions Theatre. I’ve also worked on two independent films, starring in the short film 15 Lines as Benjamin and playing JD in the feature Rhythm & Blu.

While embarking on my journey as an actor, I have been running my photography brand, Khaliq Photography since 2014 and Khaliq Visuals since 2020 beginning with the music visual project Genesis: 2020. Since launching Khaliq Photography, I have worked with Chicago actors, models, musicians, theatre companies, and writers.

I consider myself the Artist’s Artist. I seek to tell stories for little guy. For those unseen. For the audience member who asks the obscure questions. My mission will always be to elevate to voice of those brave enough to live.
